Winter Parking Ban
The Town of Harrison enforces a Winter Parking Ban each year to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations.
Effective Dates
November 15 through April 15
During this period, parking is prohibited on all public streets, roads, and municipal parking lots during snowstorms.
Why This Is Important
Keeping roadways clear of parked vehicles allows Public Works crews to safely and efficiently plow and sand roads. Compliance with the Winter Parking Ban helps maintain safe travel conditions for residents, emergency responders, and snow removal equipment.
Enforcement
Vehicles parked in violation of the Winter Parking Ban are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
We appreciate the cooperation of residents and visitors in helping keep Harrison’s roads safe throughout the winter season.
