Harrison has an exceptional public works department which is responsible for maintaining all town roadways. Summers are spent improving ditches, replacing culverts and working on road surfaces while the main focus during the winter months is keeping the roads clear of ice and snow.

Public Works Building - The Public Works Town Garage is a working, Municipal maintenance facility. For the safety of everyone, PLEASE Do Not Enter the Town Garage Facility, unless you are a Harrison Town Employee or Contractor. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.

Dawes Hill Road (around 55 Dawes Hill) will be closed to through traffic on October 1, 2024, for culvert work (a cross culvert is being replaced).

Cape Monday Road (around 321 Cape Monday) will be closed to through traffic on October 8, 2024, for culvert work (a cross culvert is being replaced).
