Code Enforcement

The Harrison Code Enforcement Department is located at the Town Office and is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and state land use regulations. This is the department to contact when applying for:

  • Building Permits

  • Internal and External Plumbing Permits

  • Shoreland Zoning Permits

  • Planning Board Applications

  • Variances through the Zoning Board of Appeals

The department also enforces zoning ordinances and coordinates inspections for construction, plumbing, and land use activity throughout the Town.
