Emergency Management
Mission Statement
The mission of Harrison’s Emergency Management program is to lessen the impact of disasters on the lives and property of our residents through strong leadership, coordination, and support across the four phases of emergency management:
-
Preparedness
-
Response
-
Recovery
-
Mitigation
Our Emergency Management Structure
In Maine, the Emergency Management System begins with the Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). Each county then operates its own emergency management office. For Harrison, the Town works closely with:
Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency (CCEMA)
22 High Street, Windham, ME
CCEMA serves as our direct link to MEMA, providing coordination, resources, and training at the county level.
