Part-Time / On-Call. Hours vary based on winter weather events and may include long or irregular shifts, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.

Position Objectives:
To provide seasonal, on-call snowplowing support for the Town of Harrison Public Works Department during snowstorms and other winter weather events. The position assists with maintaining safe and passable Town roads throughout the winter season.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate an assigned Town dump truck equipped with a snowplow.
- Respond to snowstorms and other winter weather events as needed.
- Perform snowplowing and related winter road maintenance duties.
- Operate Town equipment safely in difficult winter driving conditions.
- Work long or irregular shifts, including overnight hours, weekends, and holidays, when required.
- Perform duties in a dependable manner with a strong commitment to public safety.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Valid Class B CDL for applicants assigned to the Class B CDL Driver position.
- Availability to respond to winter weather events as needed.
- Ability to safely operate equipment in challenging winter conditions.
- Dependability and strong work ethic.
- Commitment to public safety.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
Desirable Training and Experience:
Previous snowplowing or winter road maintenance experience is preferred.
