Harrison has an exceptional public works department which is responsible for maintaining all town roadways. Summers are spent improving ditches, replacing culverts and working on road surfaces while the main focus during the winter months is keeping the roads clear of ice and snow.

Public Works Building - The Public Works Town Garage is a working, Municipal maintenance facility. For the safety of everyone, PLEASE Do Not Enter the Town Garage Facility, unless you are a Harrison Town Employee or Contractor. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.

It’s that time of year to remind residents who need sand; that you are limited to two 5-gallon pails of sand from the Transfer Station when they are open and outside the Public Works Facility. This sand is for your walkways and steps. DO NOT fill your pick-up truck in order to sand your private road and driveway.
