Regular alkaline batteries can be disposed of in the regular trash.

Rechargeable batteries under 11 lbs may be taken to the transfer station to be recycled safely. Please give them to the attendant so they may be handled correctly for recycling.

At this time there is no fee to recycle these batteries.
