Paints can be brought to Hayes Ace in Bridgton for recycling or Aubuchon Hardware in Oxford. They accept up to 5 gallons per visit.

Types of paint accepted:
Interior and exterior architectural paints including latex, acrylic, water-based, alkyd, oil based, enamel, shellacs, varnishes, deck coatings, floor paints, lawn and field paint, and stains.

Oil based paints or cans without labels may be taken to the Western Maine Environmental Depot the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Call ahead. The cost is $29 for 5 gallons.
